Versatile Design reserves the right to use artwork or photos and samples of finished work for use in our portfolio or as samples in store or on our website.

Proofs and Colours

A computer generated PDF or JPG proof is not be an accurate colour reproduction of your final printed piece as electronic proofs do not show colour change from RGB or Pantone to CMYK. The proof is the final chance to check layout, positioning, bleed, crop marks, spelling and details. Therefore what you see on your computer screen (colours) are not the same as can be reproduced by the printer due to the limitations and the smaller number of colour variations of the inks available.

Use of a UV coating or over laminate may affect or change the appearance of the printed colours. We are not liable for the final colour appearance of a UV coated or over laminated product. We will try our best to match each colour, but we accept no responsibility for colour variations between the submitted files and the final printed items. The proof must be treated as a different file from the original submitted file and be checked prior to approval. The customer is fully responsible for all that is contained in the final approved proof.

Permits

The Customer is responsible for obtaining any council permits, government consents, licences and approvals required for their jobs prior to production. All permits and fees are completely at the customers cost.

Generally if your signage is outdoors, in public view you will need a permit for it. In some cases indoor signage will require a permit so please contact your local council to obtain permits.
Any signage requiring digging in the ground will require the customer to use the Dial before you dig Service.

If there are any requirements or restrictions regarding sizing, colours or position required by your governing body the full details must be supplied to us before starting the job.
Versatile Design will take no responsibility for the cost of alteration or reproduction, removal or payment of any fines or fees associated with permits or approvals.
